Every Tuesday (any exceptions will be noted), I will publish a weekly chart of my current favorite songs. Every song that is on the chart will be a current release, determined by either an radio adds date, iTunes and/or CD release or music video release.
The chart is determined by both song play (via Last.fm) and general interest in the song.
Points and Certification System: For every week a
song is on the chart, they receive a certain amount of point, dependent
on many important factors. Here is the structure: Each Week on the Chart: 5 points Position: Point scale (#1-5 = 14 points; #6-10 = 12 points; #11-15 = 10 points; #16-20 = 8 points; #21-25 = 6 points; #26-30 = 4 points) #1 position: Additional 6 points #2 position: Additional 4 points Certification: Silver: 10 weeks on chart = 10 points Gold: 20 weeks on chart = 20 points Platinum: 30 weeks on chart = 30 points Diamond: 60 weeks on chart = 60 points
